Euthanasia or assisted suicide-and sometimes both- have been legalized in a small number of countries. Proponents of physician-assisted suicide (PAS) may feel that an individual's right to autonomy automatically entitles him to choose a painless death. However, the Indian context misses the opinion of ordinary citizens. CVPS first project on victim assistance created a thorough review of the existing compensa-tion for crime victims across and support services globally.
